Intuitive Design

During this year Chris & Code designed and developed 2 websites in the landscaping and medical industry. Chris & Code also delivered a CRO roadmap with recommendations for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia to optimise their website and authenticated experiences based on analytics, market research, usability testing, and competitor research.

Personalisation

During this year Chris & Code designed and developed 5 personalised websites in the sports, engineering, medical, IT, and construction industries. Chris & Code delivered a personalised roadmap for HCF to enhance their website to create more intuitive and personalised experiences. This roadmap was based on analytics, market research, usability testing, and competitor research.

Expertise in Conversion Rate Optimisation

Chris & Code began contracting for HCF in the Conversion Rate Optimisation space, developing a product vision and roadmap, and working with a cross-functional team to discover, define and design the vision. The strength in analytics, market and user research, usability testing, and competitor and comparator analysis was further developed here.

This was accompanied by undertaking a professional course in product management,  Chris & Code also delivered 2 websites for a business in construction, and a hair salon.

The beginning of agile

Whilst working for InvoCare Chris & Code furthered his knowledge in the digital space by undertaking professional courses in Agile and Conversion Rate Optimisation.

During the year Chris & Code also delivered 5 websites for businesses in construction, NDIS, and general services.

Understanding problems & solutions

Whilst working for InvoCare Chris & Code furthered his knowledge in the digital space by undertaking a professional User Experience & User Interface design, with a focus on design thinking and human-centered design.

This was the year Chris & Code was established, delivering 5 websites for companies in construction, recruitment, art, and FMCG.

The love for all things digital

Chris took up a role with InvoCare in the digital space where he gain all his knowledge in agile methodologies, data analytics, conversion rate optimisation, and UX/UI design. Managing 65+ websites for the industry-leading company on various platforms. Working in an Agile Scrum team and providing the Scrum team with a product vision for Adobe Experience Manager.

Understanding consumer behaviour

Chris began working for Toys “R” Us in traditional marketing, assisting in the execution of online events and competitions, conducting competitor analysis, also writing radio scripts for the stores!

Also working for USANA Health Sciences where he gained more knowledge in general marketing. Delivering the brand and marketing strategy, project managing and coordinating product launches, developing and coordinating marketing materials, and developing social media content.

Where it all started

Chris started working with a local business called Hire Express, a general equipment hire company operating through a centralised distribution warehouse. At Hire Express we began working on general content updates to the website, optimising SEO, and providing basic consultancy on the website. Also working on various tasks like social media, and designing brochures, business cards, coupons and flyers.
